Do You hear What I Hear?

Listen to this little girl.

Are you laughing?
Well on one level we can laugh at her childishness , but I can t help being alarmed at the display of such aggression in a little girl.Where is it coming from.TV, video games, cartoons environment?
I heard a 4 + year old boy plotting the murder of his l3 year old cousin sister in such gory detail that it gave us goose prickles. It was in my house and we did not laugh His mother tried to brush it away ,saying he is watching too many cartoons.
Why doesn 't such behaviour shock us? I can 't treat it as a joke.
The Bible says,"Train up a child the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it".
Jesus said,"Unless you become like a little child you cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven".

Lets be good examples to our inheritors and protect them from the hatred and violence present in society.

Thank you for praying for Mama. She is so much better today.
Two days ago we rang up our family doctor. He was away in new Delhi, but Mama described her trouble to him and he prescribed medicines over the phone. We got them right away and praise God they worked.

Hey Amrita!
I'm with you on this one, girl! There was a grown-up mind behind that little play and they will wish one day that they had sowed better seeds in that little mind!

Was that for real? I'm astounded. Anyway, glad Mom is on the mend. Grief has a lot of wear and tear on the body, so do take care.

Good Morning!
Wow that was awful...It is in violence we sow and reap. I just read that to the kids night before last at story time. In Proverbs it says that what is sown in violence we will reap. How horrid a child to be so cold of life.
Where is the training in change through diplomacy. force not wisdom. error not wise training.
I am glad to hear of your mother doing better. It will be a time of grieving for her and reflection. Fill her eyes with good things and comfort her.

I don't find it funny when adults use kids for their "jokes".
It's just bad taste.

I couldn't watch it, but I agree with everyone's comments; using kids isn't funny.

Glad your mom is better. I am sorry to hear your aunt passed on. Losing a loved one is hard.

The pottery pictures are beautiful. I wish I had more room here for things like that.

Thanks for all your comments on my blog. Sorry I don't get over here to yours more often.

God bless.
