Red Tuesday - Fun with Red

In Novenber 2008 ,Ruan a very close Sri Lankan Christian brother/friend
of Prem and Anju 's went to be with the Lord after fighting
a brave battle with cancer.
He left behind his young wife, Kumari and 3 small children.
The Premkumars took the kids out for a fun night
to the Crystal Palace in Moncton. Mahima with the youngest.

Ash with Divine during Christmas . Today is Divine 's birthday. He is 5.

Mahima snapped this photo of Ash and Mackenzie
during an unrefereed wrestling match. The red in Canadian flag shows so I can include this photo.
If you enlarge the photo by clicking on it you
can see clearly see a blanket crocheted by Anju and Mama.

Dear Amrit
a serious aspect of Ruby Tuesday.
I have no good advise, but sorrow like love has so many faces.
I hope the boys and their mother may be allowed to deal with their grief and loss in their own way, without being condemned.
There sure is a time for everything.

Yes Felisol, I thought i might add this concern for a grieving family with my Ruby photos.

Kumari is having a very hard time with the kids.Anju told me there is a lot of distubance and disruption in the house. The children don 't understand why their Daddy was taken away.

The middle daughter said to her mother;I will not love Jesus ever as he took my Dad away.

So all this has been going on. It is a very difficult phase of their lives.

Praise the Lord for Born-again Christians. I find your blog inspiring, coming from Joseph Pulikotil.
Not sure if you know Mizoram, but my daughter and I love and sponsor an orphan there!

A book on grief and dieing...It may be on amazon.
Hello Sis. I will keep my eye out for some of the resources. Anger is a natural phase of grief.
there are five phases...They ebb and flow and are often is some out of any order.

denial
bargaining
anger
sorrow
acceptance.

at times folk may get stuck in a phase. Learn more about it. Do a google search. Just because of our standing we are yet human beings. Wounds must be given wisdom and time to heal. The presentation is important. Read the post of Surrendered scribe. Find her on my side bar. She wrote of her sisters death and the way her BIL presented it to a child. Very well done.

I hope that it helps you.

Blessings, Amrita! Thank you for sharing about this family. The only advice I can give the mom is to be consistent no matter what. If she tells them she will discipline them, she needs to do it. Also, they probably are looking for some boundaries, and she probably doesn't feel comfortable putting boundaries on them because they are hurting, but boundaries make children feel safe and secure (like a corral for sheep, they are protected and safe, but they have liberties in their corral). She also needs to be honest with them about her pain and even her questions to God. That will help them understand the process of grief. I will pray for this family.

I am praying for this mother and the little ones. Praying for God's amazing peace and comfort to decend on this home.
This is such a sad time for this young family. But God is Good and He will provide a way when there seems to be no way.
In Him,
Sharon

They seem to be enjoying themselves. I pray that everything is alright with you and your friends. God will always make a way when the road seems unstable. God bless you all.

Hi Julia good to see you.

Dear JK from Taiwan, your blog does not show up on my browser anyway. I think it is in the taiwanese script.

Hello Daniella,
So happy you visited me. The Autralian bush fires are such a great tragedy.Hope the guilty people who started them are punished.
I do know people from Mizoram, but I don 't know any orphanage there.
