Let Us Break Bread Together on Our Knees

Today is Maundy Thursday when Christians gather together to celebrate

the Lord 's Supper or Holy Communion.

The night before His crucifixion Jesus instituted a family reunion Lord 's Supper. In this memorial service believers may participate together in the most meaningful, the most intimate form of worship.

In the evening I will go to a Communion service and I will try to get a video and update this post.

Amrita,
Years ago when the Charismatic movement began very strongly in Trinidad, I remember this song on guitar sung by the school choir. (I went to a Catholic school).

Such wonderful words. Thanks for sharing.
Love, Sita

Resurrection celebrations don't really happen too much around here in Mexico, as a backlash to Catholicism's events. I miss having Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, & Easter services!

Yeah Sita i sang that song in Easter musical recitals in a choir conducted by the late Presbytarian missionary and ediucator Erica Harper

Our church did that on Wednesday. They figured with so much going on it was easier to combine things.
Have a wonderful, calm, and peaceful week.

Together with you and Sita, and I hope a few others will follow, I posted this beautiful song on my blog too. I want to a Catholic school run by Belgian nuns, and we would always sing this with our young "angelic" voices. This song is so meaningful to me too!
