World History Split Into Two

BC /AD

Jesus Christ
Splits Time
At His Resurrection
The God who invaded time at the incarnation,
conquered it at the resurrection.
It was here that He split time into two.
The resurrection is the vast watershed
of history. It is the most powerful event in history.
It can neither be tamed or tethered.
It stands as an impregnable rock,
the most well attested event in history.
Upon this rock time is broken
severed into two halves-
BC and AD
Our calenders may date from
Christ 's birth, but its
really His resurrection that splits time.

Prayer Request
I need the reality of the Resurrection Power
urgently in my life today.
Since yesterday my mother has been sick.
She cannot eat anything. I am giving her
semi-liquid food, of which she can have very
little. She had some pomegranate juice and
a few teaspoons of moong dal today.
As a result she is feeling very weak and low.
This has rubbed off on me too.
After church the Pastor 's wife took me aside
and asked me why I was looking so depressed.
I shared with her and they came to pray for my mother.
I talked with 2 of my sisters. The third one will call later on.
That made me feel better.
Just need your prayers

Lord, in this day in which we celebrate your life, your life-giving power over death, I pray Your life into Amrita's Mom this day. May she and Amrita and her sisters know Your power of healing. Pour into their bodies, minds, spirits, all that You already know they need. Restore them. Flood them with Your joy.
In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Hi Amrita,
I will pray for you and your mother. Please hold on to our Lord. You are just being attacked by the enemy for all the things you are doing for the Lord. Just cast all your cares to the Lord and He will never let you down. "Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty" (Zechariah 4:6b). God bless you all always.

Dearest Amrita, I saw your note at the Pals, and started praying immediately. May our Lord, the beautiful Lifter of our head, Jehovah Rapha our Great Physician Healer, and the Holy Spirit our Comforter, abide with you in even tangible ways, making provision for everything she needs for her health and healing. We love you both and pray His strength for you. Thank you, Lord.

Thank you my dear praying friends. Its so comforting to know your friends are praying for you. My mother is better and ate some more, and drank some fluids too.

In the morning for her devotions I gave a book of Bible Promises to read and during the day i played uplifting spiritual songs. That also made a difference.Praising God alleviates the spirit of heaviness.

I think she misses my Dad during this time of the year, that also must have set it off.

God is good to us.I got great encouragement from Psalm 69, the end verses.

Dearest Amrita, I am praying you and your mother sense how close He is today. Caring for an aging parent is such an arduous journey at times. I know that your mother is thankful for your ministrations. I also know Jesus considers each sip of broth, each smoothing of her brow to be done to Him. God bless you and all of your family.

Sorry your mom has been unwell. It can feel sort of isolating and frightening, can't it? I'm glad your sisters have been in touch.

God is so good - we can only aspire!

I pray Jesus gives you strength and takes care of your every need right now, in Jesus Name!

remember: Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

love,
