Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

"I would rather live in a world where my life is surrounded by mystery than live in a world so small that my mind could comprehend it."‚ Henry Emerson Fosdick
This is quite an fascinating work of art.
An intriguing composition
Struggling to look beautiful?
You are beautiful.
We all are
Here is a video with a powerful message

"True refinement is not mere outside polish. It goes deeper and penetrates to the very foundation of character. It is purity, gentleness, and grace in the heart, which, like the perfume of flowers, breathes out and bathes all the life in sweetness... that which really refines is purity of mind and heart." ~ from Homemaking by J.R. Miller, pages 166-167

Halloo Amrita! How are you and Mother Hazel doing in this heat? Are the rains keeping up or is it dry again?

Hoping you are well!!!

It's funny, I think a lot more is spent on makeup and hair color and such than on books in my country...LOL...and I ask you, which is the more lasting and worthy???

True beauty is in the inner heart, and life is beautiful if we understand much of it is a mystery...

I loved your post today, dear Amrita. It made me think and reminded me of what things really matter.

Enjoy your day, may it be full of inner beauty and mystery!

True beauty is in the heart that reflects God's perfect plan in our lives. Those who look at physical beauty alone will find out that it will not last forever. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

I love this post! The video is great! I think, especially for women, it is very hard to not desire all the lies about aging and looking beautiful. Many of us are vain and have too much pride.

But time has a way of forcing us to relent and accept the truth... that everything in this world passes away. This includes are youth and any beauty the world has to offer.

Praise the Lord who sees beyond the physical and straight into the soul. To God true beauty are those who live for Him, keep a humble spirit, and yearn for the moment we are finally made perfect. :)
