Monsoon Garden

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
In the past few days we 've had incessant rain
together with strong winds.
This knocked down an 80 feet section of
our church wall in 3 places.

Parts of this wall is very old.
And the roots of the vegetation
have weakened it.

I had to get into the neighbour 's garden
to get close enough to take photos
because the ground was slippery and slushy.

Rs 50,000 are needed to repair the damage.
Please pray that the Lord may provide.
If any one is led to contribute towards
this cause, please contact me by email.

17 Then I said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me. They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work.

20 I answered them by saying, "The God of heaven will give us success.
(Nehemiah Chapter 2) I took photos of some vegetation
around the Parsonage.
The rain has made everything fresh and green

The above creeper is called squirrel 's tail.
It looks like a green tail.
PRAISE REPORT
Just a couple of hours after posting this
I got an email from my sister Anjali that she has sent
a contribution and also my niece and nephew.
They did not know that we have this need but
the Lord prepared their hearts for it.
Jesus said," Ask and it shall be given to you;seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives;he who seeks finds;and to him who knocks,
door will be opened."
Matthew 6;9-11 (NIV)

I will pray for your area Amrita. We have had lots of rain here lately, but the winds have been moderate. I hate to see destruction. Your trees are gorgeous.

Dear Friends,

The Lord works in such exciting ways.
I got an email from my sister Anjali saying that even before she read this post they had tranferred a sum not knowing that we needed it and also my neice and nephew from their summer earnings. The lord indeed is good.
That is why we are asked not to be anxious for anything but present our needs to the Lord.

Aw, the poor wall! Just too much rain, too many years weakening that mortar. I hope you will get the funds you need to have it fixed. Those are such beautiful grounds.

Dear Amrita,
The much needed and waited for monsoon sure came with a formidable force.
The damage of your beautiful church wall is a sad sight.
To me it all looks perfectly like the garden of Eden, but you probably need this wall for protection?
I'll pray that you may get help in "right time". from Felisol

Sorry about this monsoon damage but could not contribute this month due to others in need. The monsoon brings its blessings as well as its trials. Does here, too, but I am sure we don't get the amount of rain here that you do.

That 's right Felisol, we need the wall for protection from 2 legged and 4 footed predators and tresspassers.

A friend called our church campus an oasis in the middle of the city.

Everything looks so lush and green. Sad to see that happen to the church wall though. We have not had any rain here for more than 10 days. Very unusual for us.

Hi Madison, your area is also very pastoral. Did they harvest the corn?

Dear Amrita,
Just to say I miss you on my posts. Your lovely green garden looks immensely happy. Water is such a necessary part of life :))) and they are trying to make it a commodity!
