Better Red Than Dead

A few days ago my poor Sheeba wa s caught in the heat of the battle.

A stray dog was found wandering behind the house and Sheeba did a 'charge of the Light Brigade" unisol (Universal Soldier) type of thing. The feral dog was no Miss Tootsie, he charged back . Sheeba was taken aback as she is a very gentle peaceful animal. The wild dog got a mouthful of her fur before she rushed indoors encouraged by my frantic screaming.

Later on I gave her a sanctifying shampoo bath.
Sorry for the blurry cell phone photos.

This is Mr Naughty Wilde. The wandering packs of stray dogs have chewed him up quite a bit.

PRAYER REQUEST
I need your prayers. I have a nasty pustular boil on my back. It is very sore and painful and burns.
Trips to the hospital usually get me infected.
It was just a tiny thing and I thought it would heal, but last night it developed into a big hard lump. It hurts so much I feel feverish. I am taking antibiotics for it. Started today.
Lord have mercy.

Sorry, I have had something like that which proved to be a cyst that eventually had to be removed and never reoccurred, but if infection is involved I hope the antibiotics will soon start working!

Dear friend, I pray you will heal quickly.

Your dog is very brave.

Amrita, but is it the RIGHT kind of antibiotic, for skin infections? I wish you could go to the ER and get it fixed up -- WAH -- Sheeba and you are not having a good week at all!

I hope the antibiotics start working for you soon.
Last time I had something like that it was a cyst and had to be surgically removed. I've upped my vitamin C and haven't had any for a few years now.

I speak life and healing to your body Amrita, and I command that boil to shrink, to drain, and to dry up completely. There is no barrier or distance to life declared over you today dear friend.

And I praised God Sheeba was not severely harmed by that ferocious Mr. Naughty WIlde!

Oh dear...

May God's love and favor surround you and your household like a shield.

Love
Lidj

I'm sorry for Sheba's mishap & hope she's better soon.

I'm sorry for your trouble, too. I, personally, think you are wise to avoid an ER, but wish you had something for the pain. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Yes, I will pray for your divine healing. By the stripes of Jesus you are healed. Amen. That sore will affect your sleep since it is located at your back. Must be because of the heat in your place. Your dog is very brave but is no match for that stray dog. Both of you are feeling pain in your body but God will remedy that and will heal both of your wounds. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Sheeba and Mini are two of a kind! A couple of days ago we were out driving and a sweet little doggie face was smiling at us through an open car window at the stoplight. Meanwhile, in our car, Kinza's knuckles were white as she hung on to Mini's collar. It was shameful the performance Mini was giving! Oh dear! Inevitably the day comes when another dog runs away with a mouthful of fur!

Dear Mel I really covet your prayers.

Dear C_A isn' t it good we can laugh and cry at the sametime. Your Mini is so cute, I could cuddle her a bit , if she 'd let me.

Yes Kathryn, Sheeba is very brave, she follows me around like Mary 's little lamd, she 's go into the washroom with me if she had her way.
