11.11.11

This  is   a unique  date and  many  people  went  overboard  with   it. But  for  us it  was   a  day  to  rejoice  in  the  Lord.
It  was  the  first  day  of  the  Grace  Festival
 The  tent  being  erected

Mattresses  laid  out  on   the  church  veranda for   people  travelling  in  from  distant  places.
By  mid-morning a  large  group  of  people  from  rural  areas  had   arrived.
 Resting   and  chatting.
The  Lord  blessed  the  evening   meeting.

Dear Amrita,
I pray that the spirit of Jesus may be with you and bless your meetings in abundance.
I know how much effort you have put down on beforehand. May many souls find their way to our saviour and others be renewed.

There's just so much ado about 11-11-11. It is just numerology and has not special significance with true Christians who depend on the Lord for everything. Superstition is a curse that alienates us from God, Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Wow, so many people taking part!

I find Indians are generally very superstitious. It's not good.

In the UK, 11 November is Armistice Day - the day the First World War ended. We observe 2 minutes silence at 11am in remembrance of the service men and women who lost their lives. My daughter happened to be born on this day.
