Know this, what you are doing is a form of worship to God, your rewards will be many. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03458110831930610293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701194164995623772.post-32301324853977094652008-05-14T22:33:00.000+05:302008-05-14T22:33:00.000+05:30Father, thank You that because of your great love,...Father, thank You that because of your great love, we are not consumed, that Your mercies are new every morning, that Your supremacy and sovereignty are at work even when our 'world' seems to be falling apart. Like Amrita, the pain and untold suffering I 'see' in China, in Myanmar, in Jaipur, disturbs me greatly. May Your peace descend like a dove as we surrender our 'emotions' to You, as we allow the facts that You are good, You are God, You are able, to sink in. Especially at this time , I ask You to cover Amrita, her Mom and aunt Sybil, with Your loving protection. Thwart the schemes of the evil one from harassing them while they are vulnerable from physical and emotional exhaustion. Shower them right now and let them taste of Your goodness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.Sitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00092520641097913897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701194164995623772.post-69664014562087839902008-05-14T10:26:00.000+05:302008-05-14T10:26:00.000+05:30Dear Amrita, Great is your reward in heaven, for c...Dear Amrita, Great is your reward in heaven, for caring so lovingly for your family. Nevertheless, I think it's the right thing for family to care for their relatives, not as is done here, store the elderly away in some unpersonal home.
Share each other's burdens sounds the Scripture. I can only imagine how hard it is for them to lose their 'independence' slowly. It is physically and emotionally draining. On the other hand, now that they are back in TT, I think of them often and wish they were here so I could watch over them. It is at a stage where we have to pray for wisdom to know the next step for them. I would appreciate your prayers there.
As for you, please let me pray for you:
Father, You have given Amrita such special gifts. You have given her the role of 'care-giver', a role You carry out perfectly. I ask You to replenish her where she is drained. I ask You to refresh her where she is dehydrated. I ask You to grant her a divine respite, a physical respite. I ask that You provide all that she needs, practically, emotionally and spiritually. Now to Him Who is able to do so much more than we could ever imagine or ask for, to Him be the glory forever and ever, Amen.Sitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00092520641097913897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701194164995623772.post-8481157143542509022008-05-12T10:09:00.000+05:302008-05-12T10:09:00.000+05:30I'm sorry that your Aunt Sybil has gotten worse.
