Saw the tenth anniversary memorial service of Diana 's death on the BEEB. Although it was sad I really enjoyed the music. You just can 't beat the good old British pomp and circumstance and the ceremony.
God!! Is it already 10 years? I remember the place very well - I was at the Great Smoky mountains National Park area! When we returned to our hotel room after dinner, it was a breaking news on all TV channels. WOW!
10 years had gone by sooooo very very fast. i remember exactly where i was when i heard of her death. i was HIKING IN THE GRAND CANYON. :) it was a very hot, very sad, very strange day.
We continue to find the pomp and circumstance entertaining - I enjoyed seeing her boys - what nice looking young men they've become....she would have been very proud.
I really appreciate each comment. But due to paucity of time and sometimes electricity (LOL) I may not be able to reply to each comment but I will visit your blogs or respond to you by email.

ReplyDeleteThere are few people related to governments in this world who I liked or admired. She was one of them and John F. Kennedy was the other.
