Namrita is a very beautiful person both inside amd outside. Her mane means 'Gentleness ' from Galatians 6 the fruit of the Spirit. Really suits her.
To borrow from Andrae Crouch 's song Through it All ...
She 's had many tears and sorrows
She had questions for tomorrow
There were times when she didn 't know right from wrong.
But in every situation
God gave blessed consolation
All her trials
Only came to make her strong
Through it all
She has learnt to trust in Jesus
She has learnt to trust in God
Through it all
She has learnt to depend upon His Word.

Above is our family photo outside the church.L-R Amrita, Sengrak (the groom), Namrita,my BIL Prem, sister Anjali, Mom and Dad and of course Ashish who is 21 years old now and will soon be working as a financial advisor in a bank.

Oh Ya! Honey to Him...He is filling my heart with such great courage and strength. I love you and hope you have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteMy hand is up, Amrita! We listened to Andrae Crouch when we were young people, and his songs are wonderful and have stood the test of time.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the pictures of your sister and your family and especially the one of you singing. God bless your sister, especially today on her anniversary.
Such beautiful pictures of your sister, you and your family. What a gift to still have them. I too can relate to the song "Through It All" ... but then again, anyone who has walked with the Lord very long, is able to relate to it also.
ReplyDeleteBless you my friend.
I think you both look beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI too have always loved the music of Andre Crouch, he's one of my favorites. I think this particular song has gotten many of us though some hard times, its wonderful to hear it once again.
To God be the Glory. Ohhh. That song brings back some memories. I remember listening to it on a record player when I was a little girl. I think it was Evie singing this song on my record. I haven't heard Andre Crouch before. My 5 year old daughter and I just sat here and listened to him sing this beautiful worship song. Very enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteHi Amrita,
ReplyDeleteI have returned after a long time and in fact the first to look up is you. How nice to hear of Tura when I am from Shillong, Mehgalaya. Yes, the Khasis there are matriarchal/matrilinial and to tell you the truth, I love that system. It is so close to nature. So really natural I think.
Amrita, I am going to post three case studies any HR person would love and any one who loves to see human relationships develop and evolve, like me, also loves to know what you think of them. Do visit and comment. It is very valuable to me, your comments. Thanks Amrita.Check only tomorrow.
Julia

ReplyDeleteJoAnn
Thank you friends for your comments.
ReplyDeletePlease say a prayer for Namrita, her marriage has been on the rocks as Satan tried to destroy it.The Lord answered our cries for help through fasting and prayer and my elder BIL 's counselling.Namrita has cried many tears. And because of her troubles she almost lost her faith in God but now her trust is growing.
I thought i 'd share this with God 's family.
Andrae Crouch is such a wonderful singer and his sister too.The words just go deep into the heart.
Hi Julia, good to hear from you. Its great to know you are from Shillong.I haven 't been there but I ';ve heard its a beautiful place and they call it the Switzerland of the East.
Dear Amrita,
ReplyDeleteWhen i heard Andre Crouch singing to God be the glory it took me down memory lane when i heard you sing that song.It was heavenly.God has been Faithful.Another song I liked was Thru it all i learned to depend upon His Word. This is a lesson to all married couples is to fire up the Passion in your Marriage.Have a romantic weekend. It takes two to Tango and with Gods help and hardwork you can enjoy your Marriage rather than endure it.This is my advice to my Brother and sister in law:Be passionate in loving one another,
Prem
Hi Prem,
ReplyDeleteI sang that dong at your wedding too.
