Such a simple truth and yet it is so profound when we stop to really think about it.
I think looking at ourselves, our lives in an honest and fair manner is becoming a lost art. So many people put their self worth on how much they accomplish or how much money they have or whether-or-not they are married.
There is nothing wrong with any of those things but I think being able to see worth in ourselves can sometimes be the greatest challenge of our lives.
God loved us so much that He sent His only son to come and die for us. And His son, Jesus, was happy to do it! That kind of love... God wouldn't have made such a sacrifice we were not worth saving.
Dear Amrita, "When I am weak, then I am strong," Paul said. That is my comfort.I need Jesus all the time, and I certainly should have loved to tell about more victories, but I can't. I can tell you about the amazing grace, that I am allowed to call God my father till this day. When I stumble and falls over and over again, till I hate to see myself in the mirror, He bends down and carries me, and I whisper with my mother, "Grace upon grace".
God in the Bible in many Biblical books shows us, that He doesn't look on people's strength like money, beauty and even health (Moses had problems with speaking, Paul was ill during his mission), but He looks on our heart - our soul.
I really appreciate each comment. But due to paucity of time and sometimes electricity (LOL) I may not be able to reply to each comment but I will visit your blogs or respond to you by email.
