Diwali Celebration

Today is the first day of the Hindu festival of Diwali or Deepawali. The goddess of wealth Lakshmi is worshipped tonight. The streets are suffocated with people buying kitchenware, household stuff and gadgets, jewelry , sweets and fire-crackers.

The videos I have posted will give you a glimpse of the celebration

I wish my Hindu friends a very happy Deepawali

Dear Amrita,
you make such interesting reports from India. I am learning a lot, and am impressed by the rich magnitude of your country.
I have sent your link to daughter Serina and advised her to follow your blog closely. She is reflecting upon taking half a year of education in India next year.
We'll just have to see what is the Lord's will. Luckily Serina is also very open to the need of cooperating closely with him.

Hi Felisol,
So happy to hear that Serina is thinking about coming to India. It will be a new adventure for her.Maybe I can meet her.May the Lord direct her and show her His will as she thinks about it.
