My mother was able to attend church, today
after a gap of several weeks so we celebrated by
making Shake n ' Bake Chicken with
mashed potatoes Yesterday Sheeba chased a mongoose into the house
Here she is trying to dig it out from under a large steel trunk

to enable the poor mongoose to sneak out.
In the evening I attended the Conference meeting.
Had a good time of fellowship and met many old friends.
I will take pictures tomorrow, as I forgot to take my camera today.

That shake -n- bake chicken looks great! YUM! I've not had shake -n- bake since I was a kid!
Is a mongoose belligerent to humans? I've read that they can easily kill a deadly cobra. Having one inside our house may pose problems to humans. Good thing that they are afraid of dogs. Thanks for your post. God bless you and your loved ones always.
What happy news to hear your Mother was up and able to attend church...I'm sure that strengthened her in many ways.
That Sheeba is one character - she provides many laughs!
Glad your mum is up...did she enjoy being back at church after a few weeks of not being able to go?
A MONGOOSE in the house...that is exciting, my kids would so want to come over to visit you...here in CT once we had a fruit bat in the fireplace, but that is as exciting as it gets. Well, with 6 children (soon 7) it really never is too dull.

Hey...so glad Mom was able to go to church again...and that you could go to the conference and reunite with old friends--that is awesome, isn't it? Hope the rest of the week excludes the invasion of the mongoose...

I'm very happy to read that your mom made it to church! Your shake n bake chicken with mashed potatoes is a very western dish; one of my children's favorite meals ... of course with a green veggie included ;) I always push the green and/or orange colored veggies to them.
Haven't had Shake n'Bake forever...and NEVER had a mongoose in the house....:)
So glad your mother felt up to attending church!
Shake 'n Bake? Sounds more like the U.S. than India! How fun. Now I'll have to make Indian food, in your honor. ;-)
Blessings to you, my friend!
So glad your mother is up and around. It's nice she was able to go to church with you.
I haven't done shake and bake in a looooooooong time.
Poor mongoose; glad it got out OK.
Cute pet pictures!
