Dear friends,
Please pray for me. I am not feeling too good.
Dealing with dealing with negativity and hopelessness around me, just suddebnly drained me out.
I am struggling.

Big hugs Amrita!

Only the strong are allowed the feel the darkness around them; It is His Will. Because, that is His way to clear our eyes once again to His Light. Lots of love and prayers coming your way :))

Oh, Amrita - sometimes life is so hard 'cause we can't "fix it" for others we care about.

Negativity is like shadow boxing. It is so nebulous & persistent & difficult to fight. And it feels hopeless because it is like trying to box - or sweep! - out a shadow.

You are in my prayers. Has David's box arrived yet? I had him add a book. I should write & tell you of it. Wish there was more that i could do for you, but God is good & does answer.

Dear Amrita,
I'm praying the Lord to send his special comfort angel to stay by your side for the time being.
We know who is lurking in the shadows when we feel down and out. The fiend has lost once and for all.
I'm sure you are well familiar with the Romans 8. I try to learn it by heart to recite it when I feel like a nutshell on the raging sea.
"More Than Conquerors
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[j] who[k] have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[l] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Let this be a special greeting from God to you just now.
From Felisol

Halloo Amrita. I am sorry to hear you are down. It sounds just as if a curtain has fallen, putting all in gloom. It will lift, in time. But it is hard while it is down, don't rush yourself or blame yourself for being a sensitive person who is affected by the sadness, meanness, cruelty, and vagaries of life. The beautiful side will peek out again when this gloom lifts a bit. I think you have an especially hard time because there you are, going against the flow in your country. It has to get wearing. Well, you are loved and admired by your bloggie friends. And accepted. Hang in there, my faraway friend.

For you, dear sister...David felt it:

Psalm 42 (Amplified Bible)

Psalm 42
BOOK TWO
To the Chief Musician. A skillful song, or a didactic or reflective poem, of the sons of Korah.
1AS THE hart pants and longs for the water brooks, so I pant and long for You, O God.

2My inner self thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?(A)

3My tears have been my food day and night, while men say to me all day long, Where is your God?

4These things I [earnestly] remember and pour myself out within me: how I went slowly before the throng and led them in procession to the house of God [like a bandmaster before his band, timing the steps to the sound of music and the chant of song], with the voice of shouting and praise, a throng keeping festival.

5Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and my God.

6O my God, my life is cast down upon me [and I find the burden more than I can bear]; therefore will I [earnestly] remember You from the land of the Jordan [River] and the [summits of Mount] Hermon, from the little mountain Mizar.

7[Roaring] deep calls to [roaring] deep at the thunder of Your waterspouts; all Your breakers and Your rolling waves have gone over me.

8Yet the Lord will command His loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

9I will say to God my Rock, Why have You forgotten me? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

10As with a sword [crushing] in my bones, my enemies taunt and reproach me, while they say continually to me, Where is your God?

11Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my countenance, and my God.

Its good to have these friends for you - but better to know the lord Jesus as the Friend that you can always depend on. And the Holy Spirit too can be called upon for help.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

By God 's grace I am feeling so much better. The sun is shining - the shadows have departed.

The scriptures you shared really speak to me .

Yes Kathryn I received David 's box of seeds and 3 lovely books. And my dear friend Penni had sent some packets earlier which i was saving for the winter, now its time to plant them in the cooler weather.
