Family

I  found this  poster  on Facebook which
I  want to  share here.
And  some  cool  vegetable sculpures.
if you  don 't like  red hot  peppers
turn  them into  art!

Trust  your  weekend   was  good..
Our  morning  and  evening church  services  were
very   encouraging.  I  met   and  chatted  with  many
new  comers.
Our  fellowship  lunch  was  different  -
fried rice (pilaf) with  chick pea  curry and  yogurt  and  vegetable salad
called  raita. A couple  bought  a new  scooter
and  they  celebrated  by  sharing  sweets
with  everyone. In  India   when  you  buy  something
new and  expensive  you share   your  joy  by  sharing sweets with  friends.

In  the  afternoon  we  had  our  church management
committee  meeting  which  went  very  well.

Earlier  in  the    afternoon  something  happened which
upset  me greatly and  hit  me  like a sledge hammer, but  the  Lord  comforted me by  His  Word.we  don 't understand  why  trials   come
but   we have to surrender to God.

.1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

We had a good day too, impressed at the Supper with "love that, giving all, secured a universe for God" as the hymn said.

Read Ephesians 3 in the afternoon, where it shows the greatness of what God has in His assembly.

Preaching was on "Certainty"; all secured by the work of Christ.

We had a good day at church too. Our youth minister preached and the word was powerful and anointed. We had a good afternoon meal with 2 of our children and their families. I so enjoy the Lord's Day.
Blessings to you Amrita!

I agree with words from this poster! :)
I read a lot about Uzbek pilafs, and I even tried to do that. But I hadn't been made Indian version ever.

Dear Amrita,
I'm happy that you have newcomers in your church. That is always a good sign, a sign of health and growth.
I'm sorry about your sledgehammer temptation.
I hope you are better than I am to overcome such experiences.
