Amrita, my husband would love to cook up that recipe. What they call "fresh coriander" we call "cilantro" and we use it all over everything. The dish just looks so savory!!!

And today I will be watching Canada and the US in what will surely be a fiercely fought hockey game for the gold medal in the Olympics. I will think of you in India watching your game.

Hi Holly and Gerry, The match just ended and India beat Pakistan 4 - 1, so we are really happy. India and Pak are arch rivals.

Looks wonderful. Is a buttermilk pumpkin different the the pumpkins we get here I wonder? I will have to try the recipe out.

Dear Amrita,
congratulations to India and to Canada. They both fought fiercely to save the glory of their country.

Mentioned something to hubby this morning about the game, but he didn't know anything about it!
Took hubby's cousins son to the movies today along with my son, he knew all about it and said he would be watching today.
Glad India won.

Thank you friends. The victory enhanced the enjoyed of the chicken!

Wish all the best to the US and Canada. They say Australia is the World Cup favorite.

Hi Carol, thank you for visiting my blog and commenting, I come by too, after my laundry is done, as our power will go out, daily scheduled cuts you know.

Hi Madison, Goga must be quite busy. hockey is big in Punjab, many of the players are from there.Hope he gets all the work done and his sis gets a visa. There is something in the papers today about US visas, just read the headlines .

I tried getting a visa 3when I was in my early twenties, but they blatantly told me I was young and well educated and would never return to India.....I just wanted a 3 month entry. At least I am glad they looked at me as a threat to their economy. I never tried again.

Oh yes Felisol, we battle on a different level
