10 Years Old on May 24th

We invited  Simran (Angela),
her  mother and  younger  brother
to  celebrate  her  birthday  with  us.
She  likes  paneer ( cottage  cheese)  and  egg  curries.
So we made  those   for  her.
This   is  a  dysfunctional family.
The  father  moved away more
than  a  month  ago.
The  parents  made a  lot of
wrong  choices and  lived an ungodly life  an d they
are  paying  for  it.
We  are  praying  for  them
and  try  to  counsel and  help
them  in  whatever  way  we can.
Please for  the  salvation  of  this  family.
Earlier  the  mother  had  no
interest in  the  things  of  God,
but  now  she  occasionally
goes  to  church, asked  me  to  pray
for  them and  sends  her
children to Sunday  School.
They need  a  drastic  change  in
their  lives.

Simran and  Abner playing together.

On May 25th was  my sister  Anjali 's  birthday.
We  missed  her  and  talked  on Skype.
Tonight Sonia, Abner and  I  are
going  to a wedding  reception.
The  bride grew up in our church,
but  now  she  attends   another  church.
We  are  looking  forward  to  this
nice  festivity and  i  will  take
photos  too.

I  AM  HAVING  TROUBLE  POSTING
COMMENTS  ON  BLOGS IN WHICH
THE  COMMENT  BOX OPEN IN A WINDOW
BELOW THE  POST AND  ONE  HAS  TO
CHOOSE AN ID.
 BLOGGER REFUSES MY  ID
EACH TIME.
I CAN ONLY COMMENT  IN THE  WINDOW
COMMENT  BOXES.
(like  the  one  I  have)
I  always have  trouble  with those
below  the  post  comment  boxes
they  are  very  fussy  and
take  too  much  time.
I  don 't  like  them.
___________
Here   is a  lovely  verse for
  all  my   readers.

Set  your Face  towards  Light

Set your face towards  the  light
and don 't be led astray-
by the things  that  draw your  footsteps
down some other way
Steep and hard the road may be
with not a bend in sight-
but if it seems to run
in the direction of the light-
Keep to it
and do not turn aside
for anyone
Follow where it  leads you
Set your face towards
the sun.

"In Thy light shall  we see light".
Psalm 36;9

Hope you have a lovely time with special folks.

I had the same problem commenting, Amrita. I never could post/comment at those sites. I got around it by changing my browser. I had trouble using Firefox, but i am able to comment using Chrome. (Telling people i was having problems didn't seem to have any effect.)

I do think if i had updated Firefox it might have worked, but i tend not to do all the updating they want you to.

I don't know if this helps, but i was having the same problem.

Hi Amrita,

Yes, those other blogs block my comments too. I'd like to say nice things to those people but the system will not let me.

You and Felisol are about the only people to ever comment on my postings. So I guess hardly anybody out there ever reads what I write, but I keep on posting anyhow.

Enjoy the wedding celebration. I always enjoy the photos you post of life in India.

It's always the poor children who suffer when their parents live irresponsibly. Putting God at the centre of our lives prevents a lot of unnecessary pain and suffering.

Such a lovely smile that girl has.

Thank you for your responses dear friends.

I wish the box comments become user friendly - I always have trouble with them and now they 've pushed me out

Dear John, I enjoy reading your thought provoking articles - you are a gem

Dear Amrita,
I'm so glad you are such a willing, hardworking tool for our Lord.
I honestly don't know what kind of a comment box I have. I do not comment on my own blog. Please tell, if I need to make some changes.

Felisol my dear, I have no trouble posting comments on your blog, your comment box opens like mine - its the ones which open directly below the entry and you have to select an ID that I have trouble with - Blogger is reject my username and password - for some strange reason.

Dear Pia together with reporting about your Dad 's ongoing treatment you are also educating me through your China experience.

Trust and pray your Dad recovers completely
