It is not our responsibility to judge others or to set ourselves as the standard of holiness and devotion. The duty pressed on us is to live in the light of the truth and thereby make Christ known to others.

Amrita, I truly appreciate this quote.

And the picture of togetherness you shared in a previous post - that one is really beautiful. I love the smiles on each face, the baby in the drawer... and the dog! I think there's a grandmother in there as well!

Lovely picture of uncomplaining spirit.

Very wise, but also very difficult...

Dear Amrita,
I am so with you in this quote by F.L. Kosin.
I Norway there's a saying, "You don't get whiter by black painting your neighbor."

Even so, I have to admit, it easier to spot the splint in my brother's eye, than the beam in my own eye.

Jesus knew it too, and he warned us against it.

I know, that it will not be my deeds which get me inside the pearly gate. Just grace upon grace.

when we stop and really listen to conversations - it's sad how much of it can be in the judgemental tone ...

blessings on you!

Dear friends thank you for your kindly responses.

I am reading a daily devotional by Mr Kosin and find many gems in it, I 'd like to share.

To be a light is hard sometimes, but easier if we have spent quality time with Him and His Word has filled us.

Harder when I find myself busy and running on empty. You can't give what you don't have.

A quote to remember Amrita. When in trouble and tribulations, we tend to place the blame on others and judge them harshly. But the fact is, only He knows what is in his plan and we would do better to resign to that Will.
