Hello Amrita! This movie is playing here now; with all of the awards, I am guessing it will play for a while. I'm looking forward to seeing it sometime this week. I will be thinking about you the whole time!

This movie is making the news the news here too--and there is a large South Asian population in Toronto, so I expect it will run for some time.
Hope all is well with you. Are you back 'up to speed' yet? This weekend is a conference on child sex slavery, focusing on Cambodia, and sponsored by Ratanak Foundation and IJM. I know the issue affects India as well. Heartbreaking.
Also making the news here is an Indian woman killed by her FIL over a dowry issue. So sad, she was so young , with a young son, and she was horribly treated since she came to live with her new in-laws.
Thank you, Lord, for Jesus, and the Hope He brings to a dying world.
Blessings, Amrita
Love, Sita

I simply LOVE movie trailers. I am the person who goes early to the theatre to make sure I can see them and don't talk during them or I will ask you to be quiet. This is how I decide if I will see a movie or not. Unfortunately I don't go to the movies in Ukraine so I rarely get to see trailers.....I love that I can watch them on the internet now! This movie looks awesome and I will definitely look for it even if it's on DVD!

Hi Gail, see the movie andtell us what its like. its not released yet in Imdia.

Yeah Sita, everyday we read stories about crimes against women and children. Dowry killings are common here , although there are strict laws against them and people get punished too.

Hi Jan, the Mexico videos are very captivating. its like dropping by for a virtual visit.

Hi Michelle,
I too don 't go to movie theaters. Ususally watch movies on TV. I 'd like to watch Slumdog on DVD sometime if its available. The trailer is quite good.
