Sunday Blessings - Christmas Moon and Star

This song came to mind as I walked in my garden in the light of the moon and star.
The awesome Barbara Streisand

I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Saviour did come for to die
For poor on'ry people like you and like I;
I wonder as I wander out under the sky
When Mary birthed Jesus 'twas in a cow's stall
With wise men and farmers and shepherds and all
But high from God's heaven, a star's light did fall
And the promise of ages it then did recall.
If Jesus had wanted for any wee thing
A star in the sky or a bird on the wing
Or all of God's Angels in heaven to sing
He surely could have it, 'cause he was the King
"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us" John 1:14

The star in the day time
Sheeba wanted me to post some more of her pictures. In the first one you can see Naughty lounging in the distance.
Today after church we decided that we would have a Christmas Gospel Lunch after morning service on Christmas Day (25th).
We will invite our non-Christians friends and share the meaning of Christmas with them and serve a vegetarian lunch. Please remember this event in your prayers.

I felt embarrased. I want to tell my friends and family about real sense of Christmas - but I can't... Something doesn't allow for it, I don't know what.
Is Sheeba mix of Northern races of dogs? I see she has very thick fur.

This is a beautiful song that
is new to me. Thanks for sharing
it. I pray your dinner will be
a success in that many will be
drawn to Christ and find the
true meaning of Christmas and
life.
Your dogs are beautiful.
Christmas blessings,
Sandy

Those were beautiful pictures of the moon and the stars. It is really Christmas in your place and you will celebrate Christmas day with a vegetarian lunch with some non Christian friends. May they be enlightened by the word of God on that day. Sheeba seems to like lying on the mat. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Hi, I'm a fellow believer from Malaysia and very encouraged to hear about your church's desire to reach out to others.

Prayed for the work and will keep in prayer :) Some of us in the church just went to a nearby shopping mall giving out tracts titled 'The Meaning of Christmas' :)

Have a blessed Christmas!

Sheeba looks very contented here, too.

Wonderful Christmas mood in your night garden.
Likewise the remarkable song by Barbara Streisand.
I'll keep your gathering of non-Christians in mind and prayers.
What a very appropriate thing to do.

Dear Zim, I know what you are sayomg. Many times I have lost a good oppurtunity to share the Gospel, as i was either afraid or embarased to open my mouth.

Tak heart my friend. We can sow seeds by our life as well. Pople are watching us all the time and ask God to provide an occasion and opurtunity an apropriate time for you to share God 's love. maybe a comforting word when they are sick or in trouble. Pray for your friends to be receptive , that god may soften their hearts.

My mother is very bold about witnessing, much more than me.
