Garden Fresh Table Companions

A couple of nights agoI made Scotch eggs, spinach/tomato soup and
packaged noodles for supper.
All our garden produce (potatoes too)
except the eggs and noodles.

This is a cauliflower/potato stir fry with
onion, garlic and tomatoes.
Goes well dal and rice.
We add some spices to it like
turmeric and coriander powder,
Cayenne pepper and hing.

Cucumber, cilantro, chili, bitter gourd (tiny green things)
guava and lilies .
Today I am very pleased with myself as I learnt
how to record short videos with my Sony Cybershot camera
and how to upload them on YouTube.
I did a test run and it was successful.
I have to look out for some interesting things to
record and post.

My gosh, it did not take you long to figure out how to upload vides to your computer. My son Dan installed the software on Doc's computer, and then I edit and upload videos to Youtube. Doc burns them all on the little burner he bought at first. He is very fond of it! We have had so much fun with our Sony video camera. I wanted one for years but could not afford. I saved about a 4th of the price of tripod, camera, batteries, etc, and he bought the rest. I also needed a good video partner which I did not have before, who would allow himself to be videoed! Good luck with your subjects! My grandson Dante is my only other willing subject! Gerry

Dear Amrita,
You sure are a master chef. These products from your own garden are so impressive.
Today I've bought ingredients for Tandoori chicken. Shall make it for Serina tomorrow.
She likes Indian food. I too.
Some wonderful lilies too.
Very good shots.
Have a good Palm Sunday.

OK!
This is a good post, but perhaps my view of the goodest part is a little different ... it's the lilies!!!

Now you have just turned me inside out with those lilies! When I was a child my Mom laid out a large circle for flowers and bordered it with white and orange lilies. Our white lilies were a bit different but the orange ones were just like those! Ah, good times!

Hubby makes cauliflour potato stir fry to, a lot. He adds fresh ginger to his and lots of salt, lol.
Love the lilies. I have some in my flower garden to.
The only thing I like about summer is when I can go out into the garden and "pick dinner."
