Hands On

Another full day
By the afternoon the wall had risen
One of our men vanted this fellow to be photographed

A female team member brought her children along -
No one to look after them while she is on the job site
A little girl and her one year old baby sister
I was moved with such compassion
when I looked at them
To children such as these Jesus must have said
"Suffer the little children to come unto me"

Had a stressful morning and my sore is hurting real bad
But I rested in the afternoon
Had Simran in the evening
Talked to Anju (my sister) on the Internet
Exchanged family talk
Its a comfort to know that she also had a similar problem with her house help
in Nigeria that I had here.
Its good to know that you are not alone.

Human relationships are tricky
but the Lord teaches us things as we go along.

Hi Amrita, I liked this line the most - Human relationships are tricky
but the Lord teaches us things as v go along - Sure He does. My best lessons have been to accept them as they are for He is their Guardian, no me. He knows better than me, the Whys.Nice post, especially the end.

One day closer to completion, they are working so hard. The children are so precious and touched me deeply.
I will remember your last sentence...human relationships are indeed tricky and that's just why we need the Lord to teach us daily.

In spite of the weariness I sense, you still purpose to take pics and bless the rest of us with your labour of love...all the pics speak a thousand words about God, our human condition, His work, His harvest...
May God bring swift healing to your body and rejuvenate you with His breath...
Love, Sita

Dear Amrita,
brave church builder. How did your meeting with the bank and the law turn out?
Well, I hope.
God bless you striving so hard to make him a temple.
Those sweet children grabbed hold of my heart. Our God, who cares about the flowers and the birds must take them in his care.
Have a blessed Thursday
From Felisol
