A little sparrow flew into our house the other evening..It started chirping vociferously for help as it could not find its way out. I left my computer perch to give it a wing up ( couldn 't give it a leg up).
Birdie grew more and more confused and zoomed all over our domestic airspace like a lost UFO. I snapped a photo of it sitting on a painting frame. It took an hour of broom waving exercise on our part to assist our feathered visitor out into avian airspace.
And a gladiola in bloom
I got this award from an Indian blog watch site
Best General Blog of all time. I am rather surprised. There are many more worthy blogs than mine. This website lists only 179 blogposts, but I have actually published 387 posts.

Dear Amrita,
I congratulate you with the award. It is so well deserved. I've given me a genuine insight in what it may be like, living in India, you showed a love for all Indians no matter what creed or status and you've let me come under your skin revealing the triumphs, hardships and blessings in your life.
I find it typical for you taking an interest in a helpless sparrow. You know that not even a single sparrow falls to earth without our Lord knowing it.
Be the doers of the word, not only the listener of the word, is his command.
That's you, Amrita. A doer.

Oh how fun! So you had a little feathered visitor. The flowers look so pretty. I had to pull the squash to save the beans. The aphid were just too plentiful. Beloved got some 4 ft tall spikes so I can get the peas and bean up properly. I put Shirley's site up on my blog.
ah, poor bird!
when i was in the toronot airport last spring, there was a lost bird in there too ... i wonder if it ever got out? or just built a nest ... i mean the ceilings are a few stories high with glass all around ...
blessings on your week!
Congratulations on your award. You richly deserve it my friend. Your garden is really blessed with flowers and vegetables. I hope your sparrow friend is doing fine after her harrowing experience inside your house. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
Dear Amrita,
Congratulation for the Award! You deserve it!
Your friend and relation Janet visited my blog and I was so happy to visit hers.
Can you please tell me how I can place the link to favourite bloggers on my side panel so that I don't have to go to comments to travel to my favourites?
Julia
