Today  India  remembers  Mahatma  Gandhi on  his
birth  anniversary. It  is  a  national holiday.
Around  the world it  is  observed  as  International
Non Violence  Day.
Many  Christians  have  set  this day  aside  to fast  an d pray  for our  country.
In my  church  we  had  a  day  long  children 's  program in
which  about  200  children  participated.
I want  to  share  some  colourful  photos
gathered  from  the  web.

Dear Amrita,
Hope you had a happy Gandhi Day and peace Day.
200 hundred children, that is a good number.
I am posting old pictures from Sunday school on the local old Sauda site. I think people, when recognizing themselves will be reminded of what they once were taught, even if they are living away from Jesus now.
I remember my uncle when teaching imprinted in our minds that Jesus would never leave us. Only we could choose to leave him.
I'm praying for those 50 - 60 year old people now, that they may remember.

I was home yesterday, sneezing and coughing and wheezing and sleeping. I couldn't tell you how many times I woke throughout the day with India on my mind. Thanks for being so faithful in keeping us up to date!
