This man back bent is wading through dark waters searching for something and what he finds is the reflection of the magnificent Taj Mahal.
Tonight I am heavily burdened.
My mother 's unhappiness causes guilt and distress in me.
I will take her to see a surgeon tomorrow and set a date
for her laproscopy for gall stones.
Mom does not have any pain, her blood work was also clear.
Since the death of 2 close relatives last year and both of
BIL Prem 's parents she 's been on edge and anxious.
My adopted sister Sonia is coming on Saturday (May 9th)
Her presence will be a great comfort and help.
Please pray for my Mother Hazel
The laproscopy
Logistics
Caregiving duties
Financial needs to be met
(we don 't have health insurance)
Someone has to be in the hospital 24 hours.
Protection from the heat
Courage and strength for
Mama, she is quite low.
Anxiety sets off her acidity problem.
That in turn depresses me and makes me guilty.
Its hard to express it.
Although right now I feel I have
swallowed a sackful of hay and its stuck in my throat.
I know that
God is good
He has not left us
We are in the center of His plan.
I will rejoice in Him
and His joy will be my strength
no matter what my brain tells me.
I am not alone in this.
There are millions who are in the
similar situation, or worse.
Thank you for your prayers.
I feel so much better after sharing this.
I feel so much better after sharing this.
I can breathe better.

I'll be praying sis... I've suffered Stone problem for nearly 10 yrs. It's pain can't be understood unless one has suffered it. It is beyond words.
I'll pray. God is great. Just think about him. You don't worry; He always does what's best for us.
Thank you Paresh bhai, My mother doesn 't have any pain, no discomfort. Just that she is anxious and nervous that sets off her acidity problem. She gets confused. My sister will be a great help.
dear amrita,
i just read about your mama over at pilgrim pals and i hope that you don't mind that i posted your prayer request over at "by his stripes", so that there will be more outpouring prayer for your mama hazel.
amrita, i am praying right now for her......and for YOU!
she is well loved....love terry
Thank you so much Terry, I can feel people are praying forme. Sharing my woes also released the tension. Thank you for my request.
Also today we had frequesnt long and short power cuts which puts such a pressure on one.
Amrita, I love new look of your blog...and thank you for sharing your heart. I am sorry you feel guilty and sad. I feel your concern for your mother...
May the Lord God Himself grant you His comfort and peace today. May His peace fill you mother's spirit to overflowing to those around her...He is good like that.
PS>>> I also love the picture of you...you are a beautiful woman of God...
Hi Amrita,
I will pray both for you and your mother. You are in the midst of an attack by the enemy. Assure your mother of God's great love for her and that He will never leave her nor forsake her. Do not feel guilty that you are sometimes powerless to help your mother. God sometimes pushes us on the edge of the cliff so that we will hold on to Him. In these turbulent times we need to hold more on God's wonderful promises. We will all overcome. I will pray for you my dear friend and so are the countless Christians who will read of your plight. Thanks for your post. God bless you always.
god bless you, praying
It can be hard for those in milder climates to understand the stress of the heat, the fear of it, the frightening feeling of unrelenting heat stretching out for months in front of us. I do understand. Our weather report is for 107 for about a week, and I just want to cry, cry, cry. And you have it so much worse, with all the power cuts putting you on edge.
I'll be thinking of your mother and am sending her a get-well card.
Few things are more distressing than being a caregiver to the elderly. Hang in there, I'm in your corner for what it's worth!
I am praying for you, and your mom... may you feel God reaching out to you, and holding you close. May He lift your burdens, Amrita, and provide you with all you need.
Love
Lidj
Praying for you and your Mom my dear friend. Getting thru this life can be difficult at times, that's when we must cling to His promises and carry our cross. This shall not last forever.
Amrita, i am praying for you and your mother. you are a wonderful daughter. try not to feel guilty.
may God wrap you in His safe arms.
Thank you beloved friends for all your prayers. We 'll be going to see a surgeon this evening our time 5 pm. It will be morning in N America., so you can say a prayer.
The good thing is Mum does not have any pain and her blood work is clear. She is just very weak, and has lost her appetite and looks miserable.
My adopted sister Sonia is coming on May 9th and she will help me. Her presence is a real comfort.
Last night we had a furious dust time and there was a blackout for several hours.Early morning we got our power back for which we are grateful our neighbours still don 't have water and power....we pumped water for them.
God is good alll the time.
I will say a prayer for all of your needs, but please try not to worry, that's easier said then done when it comes to our parents, but God will always purveil for his children!
Hugs
Annette
Dear Father,

Comfort and be with her mother. Heal her physical ailments and ease her anxiety.

Debra (aka MeMaw)
Amrita, I'm so thankful you are willing to share your journey with the rest of us. My heart's on fire today for you and your family. I have always believed the pain of fear and discouragement is much greater than any physical pain we may feel. I will spend the day asking the Great Physician to ease whatever burdens you and your family carry. Love you, dear Sister.
Amrita, you are are on my mind and in my prayers often, as I have made a little sticky-note with your name on it and stuck it on the front of my computer screen where I see it all day as I work. I pray that God will give the doctor an extra measure of concern and wisdom today when your mother goes to see him/her.
It is so difficult to be the 24/7 caregiver for a loved one who is in fragile health and not feeling well. It is almost impossible to think of anything else, I know, and it must be wearing you down. Thanks for sharing this with us so we can help to support you, even though we are so far away.
Thank you for praying my friends. The black cloud smothering me has lifted. It was a spiritual battle.
The enenmy was trying to strangle me with depression.
Please pray for my mother 's complete deliverance. She ate better this evening after we saw the surgeon. The Lord gave us a beautiful promise in our evening devotions. I will share it tomorrow.
Tomorrow we go for all the required tests.
oh praise the lord amrita....love terry
