Sunday Blessings

Sunday was a very blessed day for us.Bishop Dr.J Masih gave the message after which everybody relaxed and had tea and cake while our Pastor and his wife cooked lunch with the help of the youth. It was chicken curry and fried rice with the usual side dishes and sweets.
Below you can see Aunty Edwards, Bishop Dr. Masih Aunt Sybil (her back) and the Bishop 's wife chatting

Above Pastor S, and the youth leading in prayer. Bro. S in the checked shirt lead in prayer. He is from a Sikh background.

On the left is Dr. Sunderaraj, Principal of the Bible College. We 've known him since his student days.

On the right is Josh with his dad Dr Justin.Justin is the Bishop 's son. I gave him his first guitar lessons. Now he is an accomplished musician and teaches chemistry in a university.

Here are some more people chatting and eating.

What great after church fellowship you had on Sunday. I'll have to live a bit vicariously through your photos ;) ... with caring for my special needs son, Nathan, and now my baby grandson, Jacob, on Sunday mornings ... it's rather hard to get to church. One day when my husband returns, then we shall figure out some arrangement for church. The food sounded yummy too!

What lovely fellowship. The weather looks very pleasant. The womens dresses are so pretty. I am so glad for your harvest. The foods are so beautiful on the vine.

Eating together invokes a great feeling of community and fellowship. And in my country where food is very expensive we value that.Even tho it may leak your pocket its worthwhile to spend time with the Lord 's people and have fellowship.

My family has been a great promoter and facilitator of such gatherings. And we 've fed the 5000 on 5 loaves and 2 fishes, in a manner of speaking. The Lord blesses.
